COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES AT THE MINING PLANNING
Time for assimilation of 3 credit (108 hours)
The purpose of discipline - the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the implementation of computer technology in solving mining problems related to the technology of open-pit mining.
The problem of discipline - to give students a knowledge of the use of computer technology in the mining industry to determine the optimal parameters of capital and split tranches, technical and economic development systems shallow, sloping and steep deposits.
The main sections of the discipline:
The application of computer technology to determine the optimal parameters of capital and split trenches and development plan of mineral deposits;
- Building an Excel spreadsheet based on certain formulas;
- Determination of the required standard software according to the subject to perform research;
- Graphs and histograms when doing research in mining;
- Prediction of optimal solutions for solving mining problems related to the technology of open-pit mining
As a result of the discipline "Computer technologies in mining," the student should be able to: a spreadsheet program on certain formulas, perform correlation spreadsheet to transfer the results of the calculation from the other worksheet to another, analyze the data and predict the dynamics of disclosure and exploitation of mineral deposits; graphs and histograms to analyze the settlement parameter optimization schemes of trench technology and development of mineral deposits on the basis of certain criteria.
Types of educational work: laboratory classes, independent work.
